Voonix was formed early in 2008, It started primarily with only a few members: Ompster and Skeleton were the 2 founders and along side them where Wolfie and i2ebelion (Former CF head admin). Once the server was up and running. The creation and maintenance of Voonix.org was handled by Ompster and is still popular to this day with over 10,000 hits since it's grand opening in February 2008. Voonix was mainly founded because of the lack of other Australian zombie master servers, in the beginning there was 4 now sadly there are only 2. As we watch and wait for the next update (if it ever comes), we shall continue to support the community as long as necessary.

We have no expanded to our very own dedicated server hosted in a Melbourne Data Centre. We pride ourselves on supporting the smaller communities such as us aussie's wanting to play L4D2 uncencored. As well as other small 3rd party mods we are happy to host.
