This is a pure fun shooter with deep mechanics and truly addictive gameplay. It's retro styled gaming at its best. The story isn't too bad either. Play this game!
Sanctum really gets the essence of tower defence right. The towers are well balanced, the monsters are interesting and challenging without being frustrating, and the ability to turn your avatar into the most powerful turret on the field - or at least the most flexible - makes Sanctum a fun and challenging tower defence game. Multiplayer is fun even with strangers as you all collaborate to build a solid defence network. It's easy to pool your money for one last tower, without having to give away money in a menu.
The definitive Tower Defence game, I recommend it to anyone who loves Tower Defence and doesn't have it.
And if you don't, this is the game to try. This is the game that has the fundamentals down.
