I have never played Psychonauts.
Apparently this makes me a really terrible person.

If you haven't played every other game in the franchise prior to this, I would reccomend you play them first, not only for obvious story purposes, but because a lot of the new gameplay elements and level design were made with the assumption that the player had played the previous games in the franchise. Likewise, some elements that were introduced in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, such as the economic system and most of the Assassin brotherhood gameplay elements aren't explained very well either, and would greatly confuse new players.
For people who have played the other games in the series, the open world of Constantinople is pretty huge and has a lot of stuff for you to do apart from missions in the main quest. The game also provides a nice change of pace with around seven levels where you play as Altair. On top of that, the Mediterranean Defense metagame offers something to do between missions.
Overall, it's a great ending to the Ezio/Altair storyline. Nicely done, Ubisoft.
What this game lacks in story, it makes up for with great gameplay. Anyone who likes the older and/or newer Sonic the Hedgehog games will find a lot of good nostalgia here.
As far as PC optimization goes, I can't see this game working too great with a keyboard (there does not appear to be any mouse support). I'd definitely recommend playing this with (preferably) an Xbox 360 controller or any other kind of controller that has an analog control stick. The game runs at 60 frames per second on my quad-core with an ATi 5670, which is really nice in comparison to the lower 15-30 frames per second I experienced on the console versions. The only level that gave me performance issues was Chemical Plant Zone, which has a wacky way of rendering its water. I experienced similar issues on the same level on the console version, as well. The rest of the game runs very well, though. Just make sure you have a quad-core.
