Word= Chaos

The writing was impeccable through and through. I'd recommend playing if for no other reason than that.

Gameplay: 10/10
Story: 8/10

Overalll: 9/10

The gameplay was downright fantastic, an original blend of board with cards and dice, when damage values, buffs, debuffs, and special effects are determined not by how well you've raised your character's stats, but by how well you've crafted and chosen your dice (Yes, you can make your own dice. Yes, It's brilliant). The dice themselves have a physics engine of their own, with gravity and colission and everything real dice have. You can even knock everything around while rerolling. It's hella fun. ^^

It was a fresh, unique and interesting experience you can't really get anywhere else as far as I know. A luck-based game that lets you feel totally in control of your fate.

The art was impeccable. From the simple yet eye-catching levels and assets to the gorgeous and charming character design, you can feel the love just oozing from every little detail. The music followed suit, and while nothing stood out enough to become memorable, the music rounded everything up and kept everything perfectly paced and correctly emphasized. It was a real treat to the senses, from the way your dice clink when you roll them to the battle themes giving each encounter it's right weight, nothing more and nothing less.

Story-wise- while to me it was the weakest point of the game, it was by no means bad or even mediocre. It was oozing with love. Every character had their style and set of mannerisms, and listening to them interacting with each other, that group of little deadly brats bickering and clashing and calling each other "chickenshit", it was such a treat :)

Oh, I also cried near the end. Go figure ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

All in all, Children of zodiarcs was a wonderful experience and I very highly recommend it. A unique game set in a colourful world full of colourful people and teeming with a sense of adventure, made with heaping spoonfuls of passion and love. Don't miss out!

A stale, boring rail-shooter that tries to have a personality but fails even at that.

Oh, and the FOV is locked on 70.

Stay awayyy~~~

They had more time. They had the newest technology and as much budget and staff as they could dream of.

But obsidian still did it better.

Save your money. Play another round of new vegas.
