Highly recommended, though you should know what you're in for before diving in. This plays more like an interactive movie than a typical game, thankfully the story presented here is awesome. Lasts about 4 hours but rarely ever drags, and thankfully is not a complete melodrama, with plenty of self-aware humor to liven things up when needed. That being said... bring your tissues, ladies.

Features some nifty visuals and a great soundtrack, I'd highly recommend this if you're in the mood for a fun retro platformer. For those of you seeking a good challenge, this is the game for you. Controls are tight as can be and the harder difficulties are absolutely brutal. Though I would say you're still getting your money's worth even if you only beat the Easy difficulty.

While not as challenging as Machinarium, Botanicula is a step-up in terms of humor, pacing and storytelling. I recommend grabbing both this and Machinarium if you consider yourself a fan of point-and-click adventure games, both are beautiful works of art.
