In the cutscene editor, activated items cannot trigger cutscenes. (At least, I haven't gotten it to work.)

There is no way to place the player and their vehicle on different floors (for an intro cutscene, for instance). They can only be placed on the same floor.

Changing object "skins" when placing furniture doesn't seem to be working. For example, if I place a sink and set its sprite so that it's full of water, in the editor (and ingame) it still displays the empty, default version of the sprite.

That is a bug. You are not suppose to be able to mix enemy types, you need to stick with one.
I see. This could still apply to the Colombians and guards in Blood Money, though. Some execution animations are buggy.

They should be in the list if sprites if you assign change sprite to the player (using a trigger). Must be done in the cut-scene editor.

I'll give that a shot. The odd thing is, though, I couldn't even find the sprites in the .wad file...

And that is not in the normal version for you?

It's in the normal game in particular. I tried replaying Withdrawal and that's when I noticed the issue. It wasn't like this in the build before the beta editor was released. I take it this is just the side effect of a beta build?

Check the size of your save file in Documents/My Games/HotlineMiami2. Is it suspiciously big, like >10KB?

Yeah, it's pretty big... 1891 KB.

This might not pertain to the editor itself, but in the base game of this editor build there's a half-second delay between most kills the player makes, and it's much easier to die unfairly as a result.

In topic Trying to record HM with Dxtory...?
I'm trying to record Hotline Miami with the screen recording software Dxtory, but this game seems very recorder-unfriendly. The FPS is too low during recording no matter how much I play around with the options.

I'm hoping to record HM2: Wrong Number when it comes out, so I'm testing with HM1.

Are there any recording softwares that could record the game with a good framerate (>60 FPS)? Or perhaps ways to tweak Dxtory to work here?

In Source Filmmaker, I'm trying to create a Hotline Miami video with Hunterdnrc's Jacket model. However, since the model was based on a Combine soldier, it has the soldier's animations; I need this model to function with citizen animations to work for the video. It there a way I can do that?
