This is a game that I have been excited about for a long time. RTS/FPS hybrid. The best of both worlds. For those of you who do not know, NS1 was a Half-Life 1 mod. For NS2, they decided to make and release their own engine. As a throw-back for their roots, they ship the game with all engine files so, if you wanted, could make a mod for yourself. This company, Unknown Worlds, appreciates and values their community. Looking at their forums and seeing the input from the community and how the team responds to it shows their commitment to the fans. Some maps and other aspects of the game even come from the community. If you don't look at this game for the fun, team-play, and uniqueness of the game, then at least look at this for a great business model for the future of the industry.
