Welcome to the (un)official Alien Swarm Speedrunning group!
Exactly like our name implies - our goal is to be the first, foremost, last, and definitive force in speedrunning the Alien Swarm mod. We dissect every official level in the game, breaking it down to its components and planning the best path through until it's as finely-orchestrated as possible.
Our group is open and welcoming to anybody who plays Alien Swarm, and plays legitimately. Just own a Source-powered game, download the mod, and don't hack, and you're in!
Don't worry if you don't have a microphone - as long as you can type, you can still contribute! Of course, if you do have one, by all means use it and make everyone's life that much easier.
We haven't been as active recently, mainly because our chief administrator is a lazy jerkface (feel free to remind him of that). But eventually, we plan to be the go-to group for any and all Alien Swarm strategy.
One of our members gave us a head start on that, too - Bones has created a playlist of legitimate speed run videos, which can be found at the link below. We're all very grateful for his work - keep it up!
See you out there, marines!

Its supposed to be one of those unrealistic 90s arcade sort of types that were a blast back then.
Just saying that you might like it and if my PC can run it on the highest settings yours most likely can run it as well.
Its about a 30-45 min DL in my case so you dont have to play it if you dont want to but its still a great game just to try at least once 3:

The controls are a bit stiff though so its recomended you play with a controller though not required. So if you can handle a bit of stiff handleing you'll like it just fine.
Trust me i dont like driving games that much but this is certainly worth a look.
HOLY SH*T GREMLIN- Explanation.
