Empire: Total War is a great game for anybody looking for a massive and time consuming strategy game. Not only does it throw you into a time period not many games explore, it keeps that feel of massive armies. Unlike in other Total War games this one does have a large diplomatic and city building, gives a break from the constant warfare. If you get The Blue and the Grey Civil War mod you can take up even more hours with America's most bloody conflict, either change history as the Confederate States of America, or even win the war as the Union and create an American Empire. Empire: Total War is a game for any strategy players, I definetly recommend it.
