Pure deathmatch excellence. As good as fast paced adrenaline pumping old skool multiplayer gaming gets, excepting it's older brother "Quake 1"...
What can I say... If you can cope with the flaming and children that populate many of the servers, I'd have little hesitation calling it the single best multi-player game of all time...
