What can I honestly say about Team Fortress 2 that hasn't been said? Not much. So here's what others have said before, and I'll say now.
If you're tired of the latest "Modern Battlefield Company Ops 2: Brothers in Warfare", but still love to play a great multiplayer experience, TF2 is the game to try. Different classes and items keep it fresh for a long period, Valve's amazing post-launch support right up until Free-to-Play has been amazing, and it's got the best personality in 3D characters short of Pixar films.
Play this game.
This game is as good as your taste in music. Just think of it as being able to play your MP3's while blowing stuff up, since that's pretty much all it is and all it needs to be for a few bucks.
