eating spies, snipers demos, heavies and medics for breakfast with my axestinguisher since the 'nam. and airblasting/shotgunning scoots and noobro's (w+m1 backburner pyros) since at least desert storm. as is tradition.

the music is a 10 as far as soundtracks go, the graphics are slick, theres a surprising amount of depth, boss fights, and a fun "suck and blow" mechanic help round out the package.
an easy recommendation for an excellent time waster that goes above and beyond to becoming an "actual game"
if you like top down shmups you will love this game. plus local co-op with keyboards and xbox controllers so you can have some old school fun with friends in the same room! THE SAME ROOM, NIGGA!!
Here's the thing about borderlands...
did you play wow? did you like it for a while, then said to yourself, "jesus christ, why am i wasting all this fucking time and money on what is basically a 3d diablo game with different aesthetics?"
sure you have. if so, then believe me when i say that borderlands is quite quite worth it. the loot system is fun and unique, with you always finding a favorite weapon. the tech trees arent as great as you dont actually get new abilities out of them, but you can heavily modify how your class plays through them, by making your shots crit harder or more often or leeching more life, money or xp off of enemies than usual, etc.
anyway, to put a long story short, if you enjoy desert settings like myself, solid fps action, stat management and a lot of weapons and style, then get this game. esp if you can play with a friend.
