Build upon past successes, but live upon your failures.
The Techno-brainwashed Populace of Techinapolia is a huge, safe nation, renowned for its advanced space program and glass domed cities. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 810 million are ruled by a mostly-benevolent AI, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defense, and Research. A giant of a private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.
A new high-speed mass transit system has been built, allowing Techinapolia’s citizenry to move between the many arcologies scattered about the land. The discovery of a new microbe has allowed the government to grow new plant life at an incredible rate, and has opened up the possibility of sustained human colonies in space. Burgeoning bio-tech companies, keen on keeping ahead of their competition, are moving to Techinapolia due to a very slight tax, and freedom from prohibitive moral laws.
Techinapolia's national animal is the Fennec Fox, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the sprocket. The average citizen live a life free of suffering, with their mind and body are used to their best in whatever they enjoy doing, while a few are used as emotion drained drones working factory positions. The rich live a life that wealthy people in other countries can only dream of.
I will make you an avatar, if you so desire, once you join the gorup. All you have to do is prove that you're a cool guy/girl, and then give me some idea to work with.
Death cries echo ‘round
My fingers tapping rhythm
Beautiful music
Yay Haikus. I never said I was great at them though. :\
This game is a fantastic war simulator. The clans are varied in special units and disposition, and your actions through the game determine how everyone treats you and your friends. The tactical combat is incredibly fast paced and snap decisions about unit movement can mean victory or defeat. Your generals and units will become bad-asses as they level, and people can grow old or die at the dishonorable hands of the ninja. Ninja are hilarious.
Load times, as in all Total War titles, are horrendously long most times. Just bring your Sudoku book with you to pass the wait times.
A great combination of strategy and real time FPS. Your maze making, and trap combinations will either save your bacon, or doom you to difficult last second battles against hoards of Orcs and other nasties. The balance is great, the visuals fresh and smooth, and there’s more of a story than it first seems, (Cocky apprentice takes over for crotchety old wizard. How many times have we seen that right?) with actual character development.
This is "must buy" in my opinion.
I'm here to say that you, sir, are awesome! XD
