BUY THIS GAME IT'S REALLY FUCKING FUN. There are dungeons and you kill monsters and it's kind of like Borderlands but for Tower Defense. It's really fucking fun. I said that already.
This is WAY better on the DS than the PC, DO NOT BUY. The controls are wonky and even though it has art it's really difficult to get everything working.
I've not really taken interest in Civ games until this one, but it's got me hooked. I really like it, it gets you involved and helps you out until you learn how to play masterfully.
