Skyrim is a very good game. The world is somewhat deep and complex.
Sadly, doing a lot of sidetracking and starting a lot of quests (and with that I mean carrying them around, since you can't abort them) gets punished by the game with broken quests that can't be finished via normal means. This shortens the fun a bit and rips you right out of the usually immersive athmosphere.
Apart from that, I had a lot of fun and, even after the main quest, I still have a lot of fun trying to be the very best, like no one ever was (in blacksmithing in my chase).
Here is hope for propper DLC and the Creation Kit (for them modders) soon!
I think this must have been the most athmospheric FPS I played so far. Infact it was SO athmospheric, that I played through the whole game in one sitting (of 8-9 hours).
Also, if I read correctly this is a game adaptatio from a book. I want to read that book now.
