Different than its forerunner, this game has an easy economy and warfare. It easy for beginners to start and play. Like its forerunner it features large scale battles with hundreds of units which is quite the chaos and needs good combat managing skill. With only spamming units someone doesn't come far. It requires a nice mix between land, artillery and air to rule.
The sad thing about this game is the smaller scale of world maps and the lack of the old economy. The game is easier and faster to play but misses deep gameplay elements from the economy. That all said, its a must have for RTS fans.
