This was a fun point-and-click with enough challenging puzzles to keep me interested, but a bit lacklustre in other areas.

I liked the premise - a world built on a junk yard - and I likedthat many of the puzzles required you to get creative and build things out of unconventional materials. I did get stuck a few times and had to look up prompts, which I hate doing, but it helped me think about future puzzles differently so I didn't need help towards the end.

While the voice acting was decent enough, I found the characters to be quite generic, and I did not care for Rufus's weird creepy possessiveness of Goal as some kind of prize (even her name alludes to this).

My main annoyance was that this game has way too much unnecessary dialogue; I put the subtitles on so I could quickly skip through the lines unless they had some useful information. The dialogue was often trying to be funny but much of it was fluff. I like this kind of Monkey Island style game with quirky humour, and there was some of that, but a lot of it could have been cut.

The ending was a bit abrupt. I didn't really care for the storyline towards the end; it felt rushed and the puzzles became fewer and further between to make way for overindulgent cut scenes. Overall I enjoyed it, but I'm glad I got it at the sale price.
