Got it on sale... I like it well enough, but it IS designed so that you have to play it twice. There are puzzle solutions you can only ever possibly know by solving the puzzle "wrong", and by the time you find out about them, you have probably saved at a point where you can't solve them properly anymore. C'mon guys, you've been making games and animations for decades now. I know this sort of chicanery is par for the course with 90's point and click adventure games, but you went out of your way to make the game-over events less annoying, so why not this?

It starts as a harrowing survival game, but once you master it, you will end up in comical situations left and right. Good fun, and one of the few games where it's actually worth dealing with the survival mechanics. Once you've got those parts down, the game really opens up!

It's a fun little game with a lot of potential. Unfortunately, it's also microtransaction hell. Want to try ANY animal other than the basic 3? Want to wear any of the good cosmetics? Well, you can't unless you're prepared to dump money into the game to buy gems to open RNG loot chests for a chance at getting one. Yes, the gameplay is still there (and it's decent for what it is), but everything else is locked behind paywalls.
Please, Gigantic Duck, just copy Super Animal Royale's marketing model. Make a paid version of the game in which people can give you money *one time* and then play as the thing they want. Right now, I can't get anyone I know to try this game, and the people I know who have tried it don't return to it. I'd love to see this game succeed!

Fun, cute, and addictive - three things I never thought I'd say about a battle royale game. I love it! Well worth getting and playing.

Ever wanted a monster trainer game where your monsters are like full-on party members? This is it. You name them, equip them, build their move & ability set, and they help you get around the terrain and solve puzzles. The combat is (usually) a 3v3 scenario which rewards team strategies and defensive strategies just as well as it does pure DPS ones.
I'm about 10 hours in and still have a LOT to do.

tl;dr - Good game. Worth it!

Fun original gameplay, charming characters & setting, and great music. It even works flawlessly with my ancient PS1 controller that's hooked up via USB adapter. Check it out!

Love this game! It's got everything that was great about the original and then some. TJ&E is BACK!

This is the best roguelike platformer on Steam, at least in the RPG category. It has only gotten better with time. The characters, animations, backgrounds, music, and game balance are all top-notch. If you like to get immersed in your gameplay, don't pass this one up.

This is a fanastic and original SHMUP game marred by one game-breaking flaw: There are no iframes, even right after death. If a large enemy collides with you, or if you respawn in its path, there's nothing you can do. You just spawn under the enemy repeatedly, die repeatedly, and then the game is over. This game is otherwise very polished, so I can only assume that this is a bad design choice.
It is a great game, but I recommend it only to those who are willing to play at such a high level that the respawning thing never becomes a problem.

These 8 games are lots of fun and also very faithful demakes. Short in length, but highly replayable. If only all "bootlegs" were made to this standard!

EDIT: It took me about 7 hours to get all the achievements.
