Completed the game over a couple days, and then instantly replayed it again in new game plus in one sitting. Short game (I have done everything except all the collectables and a few achievements) but extremely fun, but for me only with certain conditions.

The infinitely respawning enemies in the open world feels extremely restrictive and makes me feel like im always wasting resources and makes me not want to explore at all. To combat this I played the entire game using a mod that disables the enemy respawning (which you can find on Atomic Heart Nexus), and I highly recommend playing this way if you dont like the open world or find it annoying.

Looking forward to the dlc!

As with my review of World Of Horror, I once again feel like this is another case where a game has almost been made specifically for me, and I absolutely cant believe I've had this sat in my steam library almost since its release without playing it!

I truly believe that this game isnt getting anywhere near the recognition that it deserves. It covers so much of what I love about Japan. It gives you an amazing open world Tokyo to explore, and goes into a great amount of detail with descriptions on areas you're visiting, things you discover, food you eat, and most importantly Yokai that you hunt as well as help.

If you enjoy learning about Japan and Yokai, as well as playing first person action horror games, then this will be perfect for you, as it is for me. Even if you arent as into Japanese culture and Yokai as I am, I truly believe that this game has the premise, atmosphere, and immersion to get you excited about them, and you'll still have a great time with the game.

The one and only issue which I have with Ghostwire Tokyo is the field of view. The game has quite a narrow field of view that cannot be changed. While I pressed on despite this, just because I love the themes of this game so much, I understand that some people will find this almost impossible to play because its too awkward, or can even cause headaches/nausea etc. There was a mod on the Ghostwire Tokyo nexus to widen the fov, however since the most recent update this has stopped working, so I hope to see another mod up soon to fix this, or an official patch to the game allowing for fov adjustment.

Tl:dr - Absolutely amazing game filled with Japanese Culture and Yokai, as well as an immersive open world haunted Tokyo to explore, I couldnt recommend more, a must play! Only issue is with the lack of fov adjustment (Please add to the game devs!)

Edit - I have found a way to change the FOV after the updates broke the mod usually used to change it, I have made a steam guide describing how to do it: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2869433388

ONE ORDER OF DIET MUSOU PLEASE!

I'll preface this review by saying that im playing this game as a big fan of the Musou genre, its my favourite overall genre along with JRPGs. I am not however a Touken Ranbu fan, and have actually never seen or heard anything about it before this game.

As many have already said, this is a very cut down musou game. Basically every single aspect of a typical musou game has been simplified in Touken Ranbu Warriors which is certainly disappointing to see, and is absolutely something I hope wont be seen in any future musou games. Besides this however the core aspects of a musou game are here in some aspect, so fans of the genre will feel mostly at home, with the most major and obvious loss being the wide open maps and long missions that have been replaced with mostly linear maps on missions that quite literally last 4 - 8 minutes.

Besides the fact that I absolutely consider this a 'diet' musou game, I am admittedly still having a good time with it and will continue to play it. The combat and core gameplay is still fun, if a bit strange and off feeling compared to an average musou game, and the game visually looks great.

Overall I will recommend this game, but if you're not a hardcore fan of either musou games or Touken Ranbu, I would absolutely wait for a sale before picking this up.

Tl:dr: A strange direction for a musou game, and a direction that I hope wont continue in the genre. However as a stand alone one off 'experiment' at a simpler musou style im still having a pretty decent time playing through this title. Definitely one for Touken Ranbu fans primarily, and for die hard musou fans that want to experience every musou game. For everyone else, definitely wait for a sale.

Gonna wait until this gets some updates and refund for now. Had numerous bugs almost as soon as I started the game (hands and fingers being visible through my arms, Spike glitching around while running, a train spinning around and shooting me into the air while the game was paused). Plus overall the game doesnt feel as good to play as the first in its current state. I do hope to pick this game up again in the future when its more finished.

Here's a recording I got of the admittedly hilarious train spinning glitch - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnpNPbvV8Ak

Update:
I would imagine im about half way or a bit more into the game and im still having a great time with it! Im especially enjoying the direction the story is going in currently, its a lot more mystery based compared to the first game which gives this game a different yet familiar tone to the original.

Original Review:
Just finished the opening, and already im excited to get back into the world of Blue Reflection. Already feels like the gameplay and world is being enhanced and expanded while also being changed up, cant wait to see how it progresses.

Update - Just finished 100 percenting this game (minus the little collectables as there was no achievement tied to them). An absolute blast from start to finish, very nostalgic to play through. I'll be very much looking forward to the Destroy All Humans 2 remake!

This is how game remakes/remasters should be done
