Hello there! Thanks for viewing our Steam Community page! PGN started out as a small clan (2005) that likes to play in cs 1.6 public servers. Its first members used to play in a public server called '|SN| Sovereign Networks #33 ' located in San Francisco, CA.

Our first public server was a home-made 14 slot dedicated server. Having what we call our 'own server', several members were recruited - which up until now are still members of PGN. Our first tag was "pGN*playerName", and we've used it until our very first 'real' dedicated server which was hosted by Centauri Communications - the company behind Sovereign Networks - which as you can see was hosting our favorite public server back then. It was a 21 slot server that was upgraded to a 32 slot server after a couple of months. Kurasa (Founder/Owner) decided to changed the tag from "pGN*playerName" to "playerName #PGN".

After a couple more months, it soon came to Kurasa's mind that the 32 slot public server was just not enough...it was constantly full and most members were demanding to get a scrim server to play matches on. Asking for a bit of help from it's long time members, CUJO was kind enough to lend a hand and so our first scrim server was purchased from HD-Gaming, after a couple of months divo was chosen over HD-Gaming for reasons only known to Kurasa & CUJO. Nuclear Fallout was the third and last game server provider that we've used. We've purchased a total of 5 servers from Nuclear Fallout (Four 32 slots & one 10 slots). It was nice and fun for about half a year with Nuclear Fallout.

PGN's bill was already raking up pass the $500/month ceiling that Kurasa set. And so he decided that the best way was to purchase PGN's first ever dedicated server (Again with the help of CUJO). It was purchased from The Planet which was located in Dallas, TX which is now the main server location for most PGN public servers.

We're now one of the largest public game servers in the United States. From Gun Game to Death Match servers, just ask in our website and we probably have it or we can make one if there's a big demand for it! It's all about giving back to our beloved public community. Thanks for making PGN one of the best!

Note: If you want to ask PGN members some questions or would like to leave comments & suggestions, please feel free to post them in our forum (http://www.joinpgn.com).
