If Far Cry 2 is an excellent simulation of being a mercenary in a third-world country, Just Cause 2 is the Hollywood Summer Blockbuster about the same thing. Just Cause 2 is the jungle-and-desert-driving, gun-toting, blowing-up-property, parachute-travelling king, and its kingdom is a silly one. To make matters even better: There's a hookshot. Yes. A hookshot. Hook on to helicopters and punch out the pilot to take it over, clothesline motorcyclists by hooking on to them as you pass by on a car. Hook-climb your way up a mountain, then jump off! You can do it all. With plenty of landmass to cover, and plenty of people to blow up between you and the end of the game, this is a game worth owning.

Pick it up. Play it. Blow it up.

If you're in that category of player who enjoys games like Far Cry 2 for the open world, true to life feel, look no further than S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : Shadow of Chernobyl. Where FC2 is Africa at it's most warlike, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. brings us the irradiated shambles of Russia and the scavenving inhabitants.

Want real immersive free-choice action? Want to plan out assaults on enemy strongholds, instead of being dragged by the hand? Pick up S.T.A.L.K.E.R. It's worth it. And while you're at it, Install the "Complete" mod. It revamps the game to make it even better.

If you haven't already delved into the delicious soup that is the universe of Mass Effect, go find and play it. You're doing yourself a disservice not to. If you have, and somehow haven't played this, well then... shame on you. Get to it, Shepard!

The definitive team-based color-teamed hat collection game. Run, Jump, Climb your way to the top of the score board, or just hang around blowing up friends. A good time either way.

"Africa, The Simulation," is one of the best games i've ever played, if you've got the mind to sit down and really dig into it. It's sandbox, but with enough things to do to always keep you moving forward. The buddy system is incredible, and you grow so attatched to these NPCs that they can draw a true emotional response. I cannot recommend this game highly enough.

Super Meat Boy will grind you into hamburger, spit you out, and make you a Super Meat Man. Play this game. Share this game.
