14/12/07 - A early Christmas Present for N.I Gamers.
Northern Ireland Gaming Community!
The Northern Ireland Gaming Community is a community set up for Northern Ireland gamers. At the moment it is mainly a forum, we intend for this to be turned into the main portal for all N.I gamers to venture into!
We intend to create clans and guilds based off many games, ran by the users and staff of the forum!
The reason we created NIGC was...
Have you ever played Counter-Strike, UT2K4, WoW and looked for a fellow N.I gamer. But resulted in being unable to find them?
Thats what NIGC is here for, you can link up with them. Knowing they are only a few miles away!
We intend for this community to have:-
*Multiple gaming servers for popular games.
*Dedicated members and staff
*Updates on new releases on games.
*Information on gaming in general in Belfast.
*The community to be ran by everyone and not just staff.
As a community, if you sign up you become a member! You are then full welcome to participate in polls, votes and decisions on the community.
Thank you for reading, and welcome to the home of Northern Ireland Gaming!
Please remember after joining the steam group to join the website!

Dispite it's horrible anime style and annoying girls making annoying japan noises, this is actually a very fun and addicting game.
The game eases you in fairly slowly, but after a while a usual in-game day could go something like this:
1. Stock your shelves, put interesting items near window to attract more customers into your shop.
2. Customers will come to the till and either:
- Ask you how much an order is, you tell them, and if it's satisfactory to the customer you sell that item. (Buy low, sell high)
- A customer will want to sell you something, probably something like beef stew that their mum made and they pretended to eat. You buy it for a low price, and can sell it later for a higher price fetching you a profit.
- A customer will want you to get an item in stock, and they'll buy in bulk in a certain amount of days.
3. You'll visit some shops in the town, see what you can buy to sell later for a decent price, or to attract visitors.
4. Raid a dungeon, getting you free stuf
A surprisingly addicting game.
It's another one of those games where you raid dungeons, get items, and struggle your way through trying not to be hit by a monster because every heart counts.
It's pretty difficult, however the fun you get from wondering what you'll find next will keep you going. If you get far enough you'll have a weird looking character with all these items attached to you, from your mums bra, to a coat hanger being shoved through your skull. These items are all unique in themselves and keep the game interesting, and it's what will make you want to play again, after dying and having to start again from the beginning.
Also, the art style is brilliant.
Brilliant game to pick up and play with a friend. Can be pretty difficult but that's what keeps it interesting, and rewarding every time you sucessfully finish a heist. One fuck up can fuck up your mission. For example you have to be smart about where you place stuff like ammo bags or health bags - you'll probably need them a lot at one point, but you might have to hold out and keep them for later in the hiest.
The only disapointing thing about this game to me is the stealth mechanics - there are none, and I really think there should be, especially when there are missions where you have to sneak around guards to make the heist much easier for your team.
