It's funny how a strange community hive mind can put down what is actually a decent route. If you ask 90% of people what is actually wrong with it you'll likely get 'see the other posts!1', no answer or some really nit-picky unimportant things. It's as accurate as you're going to get from DTG and in all fairness I've not had any performance issues. People will complain about stations having a lower polycount/lower textures yet also complain it's running poorly? People complain about 1 or 2 signals being wrong in a yard with over 1000 of them? Unrealistic expectation and in reality it really doesn't detract from the overall experience (unless you have some strange form of OCD). The most laughable comments I saw claimed the repeatedly built up heap of a freeware route was better.

Summary; pretty decent route by train sim standards, but if you have a potato PC don't expect brilliant performance in the London area.

Probably my most used locomotive addon. The pack comes with a good variety of liveries, the sounds are okay to say the least (much better with the Armstrong Powerhouse soundpack), the texture mapping makes reskinning very easy and the tap changer control system is extremely well simulated. The only issues I have with the locomotive is not many switches in the cab operate and the locomotive is not compatible with the neutral sections on the WCMLoS and WCMLTV.

I'd recommend you buy this excellent addon. I give it 8/10.

Until the developers decide to put more time into making the base game work instead of releasing a rushed DLC every week, do not buy.

TS2017 had just been released, it's like TS2013, but it includes a few routes that could already be bought.

This has got to be by far one of the best routes for Train Simulator and certainly the only route worth £24.99. The attention to detail on this route is stunning and with 200 miles of track it doesn't get boring. It comes with a nice variety of stock including the Class 25, Class 37, Class 101 and a Class 08, which is a generous amount of locomotives, but its a shame no steam engines are included. I would definatly recommend you get this route.

The model of the overall locomotive is good along with updated textures. Unfortunately the cab view is very broken but for what I know there is a fix for it online, but it should be DTGs job. The locomotive is good fun to use with the Class 91 as that was what they were originally used for. I'd recommend it apart from the cabview bug that really needs fixing.

Very nice model from DTG, looks great inside and out and the textures are very nice. Only disapointment is that there is no cab modelled for the blunt end. Overall great model and I'd reccomend you get it!

EDIT: It appears it does include a blunt end cab, I just didn't know how to get to it!
