Regional groups are fine but if you want access to the shack steam group servers, YOU MUST BE IN THIS GROUP.
To use steam group exclusive servers: simply go to "play campaign" in the menu and then "join steam group server". Let it sit and think (it may take a few "searching..." tries... it may even say none found a few times) until it finds servers.
