WHO I AM: Well, I'm female lol (probably guessed that from the name). I am a freelance writer, editor, and creative thinker. I am American, but currently living in Quebec City (for love :D).
I am a bible-based follower of Jesus Christ - commonly called a "Christian," though that nomenclature is getting quite blurred these days. That's why I say bible-based (and non-denominational).
SO YOU'RE RELIGIOUS? Nope. Quite the opposite in fact. Being a believer in Christ isn't about religion; it's about relationship - the reconciled relationship between God and man. "Religion" in all its various forms is about man deciding how he will get to God. Christianity is about God reaching out to man. Big difference. ;-)
WHAT`S YOUR AVATAR? It is a flag from Quebec called Carillon Sacre-Coeur. It was flown by the Roman Catholics until the 1950s when the flag was corrected to Quebec`s current flag (repositioning the fleur-de-lis as per heraldry regulations). And no, I am not Roman Catholic. PERSONALLY: I love to laugh and will always try to get people to laugh, even at my own expense (though I don't find most jokes funny). I love having fun just hanging out and talking with people on Teamspeak. Light discussion or serious is fine with me.
A GIRL GAMER? Yep. I've been playing games since the days of Atari console, sega, Ultima (the original one ;P), and have played Doom (original), Wolfenstein, Halo, Half Life 2, and now Team Fortress 2.
WHAT MY NAME MEANS: My clan tag name is }SoC{Exhort. The word "exhort" means "to encourage" and represents a "spiritual gift" - which is something God gives every believer to help them help others. :) A person with the gift of exhortation has the ability to bring encouragement, to help others see the relevance of scripture, to give insightful counsel, to motivate, to comfort, and to offer hope that prompts action.
Also, you pronounce it "exZORT" with the emphasis on the second part. ;-)
MY CLAN - Soldiers of Christ is a Christian gaming community that started in 2004 with Halo. I love to play games and understand very clearly the line between reality and games. ;) In other words, just because I play a game that involves healing and flaming people doesn't mean I will go out into the world and become a medic or a pyro. LOL I have also only killed pixels, not people in the games I have played. :P Thought I'd get that explanation out of the way.

Soldiers of Christ is a Christian gaming community. We began in 2003 with Halo and have recently moved into Team Fortress 2. We have seen strong growth over the last four years and now number close to 600 in the clan.
We seek to help the gaming world know their need for Christ - His love and forgiveness is available for anyone who will accept Him. We don't try to "sell" people on Christ, but only give you what God says is truth and let you make the choice from there.
If you are looking for a clan that is like a family and not just a clan, that's }SoC{.
CHRISTIAN CLAN? You do not have to be a Christian to join }SoC{ and not all our members are Christian; however, we are guided by principles given to us as followers of Christ in God's Word (the Bible).
SERVER RULES: Because we seek to create a respectful, clean server environment that both kids and adults can play in, we ask that you respect and follow our server rules when you play in the }SoC{ servers. You can find those rules at teamsoc.net.
In admining our servers, we always seek to balance grace with discipline. If you come in with an attitude, we will seek to give you chances to correct yourself. But we'll also know when it's time for you to leave the server -- ultimately it's really your choice how you act. We'd love to have you play with us with respect for all players! :)
