Halloween is just around the corner and if you're looking for a creepy game to satisfy your Halloween needs look no further.

Bulb Boy is a strange little horror game where you play as Bulb Boy. One night your bulb house is overrun by evil and it takes your grandpa, so it's up to you to save your grandpa and get rid of the evil entity.

Bulb Boy is a point and click adventure game and it's very charming. I absolutely love the art style and it's insanely adorable, but creepy at the same time. It's definitely fun just to look around and see the environment and not to mention the gruesome enemy design.

Gameplay reminds me of classic point and click adventure games, where if you made a mistake you would die and have to restart, but not to worry as bulb boy is very forgiving of death. You get a save as soon as you're done with a section or a puzzle.

The game in itself is really short. It took me 2 hours to finish the entire game and it's this games biggest weakness. Since I'm a veteran of the genre that might be why I was so quick with the game and maybe some you might take longer to finish, but after that playthrough you could do a second one to collect achievements.

The puzzles range from pretty simple to I have to think about it for a moment. What I like about the game is that the puzzles aren't cryptic and are pretty simple to solve. But without a doubt there are some tough puzzles, but nothing impossible.

The soundtrack is also really great. It settles the mood perfectly, even though the last acts music I felt was out of place, it was still a great soundtrack.

The game ran perfectly from start to finish and I didn't encounter any bugs at all the entire time I was playing.

In the end Bulb Boy is a fantastic point and click adventure game. The art style is amazing and the puzzles are simple enough, that everyone can solve them. The only downside to this game is the length of the game, but it tailors on what play style you have. It might take some people longer to finish than others, but expect 3 hours of gameplay.

If you want a good game for Halloween, but don't want a jumpscare fest Bulb Boy is a must play.
