Terminal Velocity is fun, but what's even more fun is writing a review just to get the dumb Steam Awards nomination badge thing.

Well, I was having fun with this game. Blasting German planes, strafing ground troops, dropping bombs on buildings, it was all non-stop fun. The only problem was that I kept getting knocked out of the sky...by my own overeager wingmen, who I can only assume believed our airplanes were in love and wanted them to kiss. I just had another occurrence of this, and decided it was a good place to leave off my playing for tonight, so when the game asked if I wanted to continue from my last save, I clicked 'No'. The game then returned to the pilot selection screen, and I saw that my pilot was GONE. The game decided "Do not continue" actually meant "YES PLEASE DELETE MY PILOT I WANT TO LOSE EVERY SECOND OF PROGRESS I HAVE PUT INTO THIS GAME." Avoid this trash.

This game is a very simple barebones shooter with zero AI and cookie-cutter locations, and you can probably finish it in an hour, but for all that it's still a fun little game. About the only negative thing I can say about it is that the achievements don't seem to work.

I nominated this game for Labor of Love because the Steam Awards are a pointless joke. Badge, here I come!

In the Bible, Jesus instructs his followers to love everybody, no matter what. Fortunately, Jesus didn't say jack about loving terrible video games. I hate this turd of a game. Keep that in mind, folks! Don't keep hatred in your heart for your fellow man! Just his godawful works!

I find Fallout 4 quite enjoyable -- I played it pretty much nonstop the entire month of September -- but I'm only writing this review for the badge that comes with the current iteration of Steam Award nominees. The Steam Awards are pointless turds, the community will never fail to nominate and vote for bottom of the barrel games, and with that in mind I nominated games more or less at random for each category.

Except Fallout 4, which, as I said, is quite fun. I guess I'll say it's a Labor of Love since they release free crap in the Creation Club every two weeks, which is nice.

This is definitely one game that should never have been born. It's so bad!

The game literally fried my laptop.

I mean, I still recommend it, but MAN.

One of the greatest games ever made, and far superior to the original PC port, but Capcom patched out the capability for Ashley to suplex cultists. BRING BACK SUPLEXING ASHLEY, COWARDS.

ACAB.

Oh, there's this one old dude in a Traffic case who constantly looks like he's just eaten a lemon. He was played by the dude that plays Ted's dad in the Bill and Ted movies.

Most of the DLC cases are kind of badly put together, to be honest. For the most part, it's probably best to use a guide for them, or you'll be missing interview questions left and right because you're not sure if you should be presenting one of your millions of pieces of evidence or not. And in the aforementioned Traffic case with Ted's dad, the first time I played through it I only caught the car thief, then was utterly shocked when the Irish police chief dude congratulated me on arresting a pedophile.

The only exception is Nicholson Electroplating, which is FREAKING GREAT because it starts with a MASSIVE EXPLOSION and Cole TAKES A BIG DUMB IDIOT SELFIE OF HIMSELF and his friend the Science Cop TRICKS HIM INTO BLOWING HIMSELF BACK ONTO HIS ASS and then you have a SHOOTOUT WHERE YOU KILL A BUNCH OF ARMY DUDES AND THEN YOU HAVE A SHOOTOUT ON THE SPRUCE MOTHER EFFING GOOSE oh and also you see a picture of Howard Hughes at one point, except the model they use in the picture is literally 100% the exact same as a generic cop that you always see hanging around the police station, so it's fun to pretend Howard Hughes is secretly a cop.

Also, I once hilariously failed a case by jumping my car over a police barricade and running over the brutally murdered corpse. "Tampering with a crime scene", yeah. I was laughing like a maniac for days afterwards whenever I thought about it.
