What is Stompfest?
Stomp is a verb meaning “to tread or trample heavily or violently on” and Fest means “a gathering or occasion characterized by a specified activity.” Does mean this is a community of people trampling others? Well, in short, yes! But we do it with style, class, and within a community of players that number over 100,000! <note: sub in the unique user count for 100,000>
What started as a group of gamers who enjoyed gathering together on local area networks has evolved into multiple full time Tier-1 hosts serving the First Person Shooter community with Counter-Strike Source and Team Fortress 2. While the LAN parties still take place in the midwest, you can get your game-on internationally, 7/24/356.
