Awesome game! If you liked oblivion then you will LOVE skyrim. It's about 10X Better! I recommend this game to anyone who liked Oblivion, Fallout 3, or Fallout New Vegas. It is an Open World RPG, with 2 Main Story Lines. And 100s and 100s of side quests!!!! With a HUGE map and 100s of Dungeons, and various locations. DId I mention DRAGONS!?!??!?!
If you want to get knocked into the sky by a giant, hunt for treasure, or Fus Ro Da a Bunny Rabit off the top of a mountain this is the game for you. Did I mention DRAGONS!?!?!?!?!
If you are into open world RPG's with exploding body parts, great graphics, and a killer storymode- This is the game for you!
It is easy to get bored with this game after creating a few characters... Fortunatly there is a HUGE modding community out there to insure you don't get bored. Go to the fallout 3 nexus to access thousands of mods.
