A great puzzle platformer with a great atmosphere, Braid is certainly an indie gem.
Great real-time strategy rpg. More than a hundred heroes, each unique, with their own abilities. The game is very hard to learn, but once you get the basics down it's one of the most satisfying gaming experiences you can have.
The fighter of all fighters. Great fighting game; the singleplayer isn't all that, but the multiplayer (offline + online) is fantastic. SSF4AE does require some practice though, not a game you just pick up and play; once you have learned how to use a character it pays off, and it's fantastic kicking ass online!
