Been playing since closed beta - here's why it sucks:

Took a couple months break
Came back - Got greeted with a gem sale message (really invasive one that is popping up in your face)
Fair enough, right?
Went in-game, only to discover several NEW core game mechanics (TP across map feature on Conquest mode for example)

So how about this: Returning players get a quick brief of new features rather than invasive beggar gem sale pop-ups.

I hope SMITE 2 flops and rots if they bring the same mindset to that game.
