Sweswat.net is an independent group of people who are running the website and servers.

The name and the servers have in different names exists since 1999 when the first beta version of the of the Counter-Strike was launched. At the end of 2001 were the servers down and it marked the end of Sweswat.net in Counter-Strike 1.x scene.

2005 Sweswat.net came back with Counter-Strike: Source. A little later expanded this with Team Fortress 2 (TF2) and Call of Duty 4 (COD4). In the spring of 2008 was however TF2 and COD4 closed down due to low activity on the servers.

Even in the spring of 2008 it became an ownership change of Sweswat.net.
