Move Stuff Co's seat of power is the two-kilometer high Grontborough Bridge Memorial Center dominating the skyline of historic Grontborough City. The tower is named in honor of Grontborough Bridge, constructed in year 1998 to mock a long-defunct competitor. The rickety wooden bridge, disguised as a gift to aid the struggling company's development, was in fact designed to bottleneck their movements. Less than a month later, a high speed maglev line was constructed directly adjacent to the bridge. The competing company was allowed two months for its single diesel train to finish crossing the original bridge before being bought out by Move Stuff Co. The old wooden bridge (since converted to a Move Stuff Co. museum) was destroyed in a terrorist attack on August 18, 2128, believed to have been perpetrated by the defunct competitor's bitter grandson and funded by his final welfare check. Move Stuff Co's new headquarters building was constructed in 2152 so that its evening shadow traced the expanse of Grontborough Bridge and named in its honor.

Mech Stuff Co. is comprised of several lances, or squadrons, assembled from some of the best and bravest MechWarriors money can buy. Its command lance is named after Grontborough's historic baseball team, the Grontborough Gambits.
