Super Meat Boy was great in a masochistic, rage quit sort of way. You'd keep trying over and over because there's literally only one way to make it through the level. Eventually you'd beat it but it's arguable if the experience was actually enjoyable (especially with the later levels). Dustforce is Super Meat Boy with the depth and awesomeness it always wanted. It's the only time I've played a game where I could be on the 50th attempt at getting a level perfect and not want to cry/scream/put a fist through my screen. The art design and music add that extra polish that makes this probably the best hardcore platformer I've ever seen. This is worth every penny. Ask me why this game is so great if you're still not convinced...

If you're getting it on sale, it's worth getting the soundtrack with it for a few extra bucks. (If you're unsure about it, you can listen to the entire soundtrack on their website.) Overall, Bastion is a masterpiece. The art design, music, and gameplay really compliment each other.

Play the demo first... This game certainly isn't for everyone. Yes, as you progress, each level may feel frustratingly hard but when you solve it, you feel like a bit of a genius.
