Much harder than the first game, but lots more girls. The double-date mechanic makes things more difficult (along with the baggage), yet completing a date successfully feels more rewarding at the same time. If there are things I don't like, it would be that there is much less talking to the girls involved, and the hunie system at the beginning makes it quite difficult to acquire date gifts and other items you may need if you're not very careful. Also, no hidden girls to find, which is a bit of a bummer. Overall, have to rate this game a little lower than the first, but not by much.

Edit: Oh yeah, no achievements! What's up with that??

Early Access Review
This game just hit early access, but so far it's looking pretty good. This is a pretty standard RPG but with a cool cyberpunk theme. Just keep in mind, though, that it is still early access, so the game is incomplete and there are a few bugs that you're bound to run into. Having said that, it'll provide you with a interesting story and fun battle mechanics that are a bit of a throwback to years past.

This is a game for the Atari 7800 console, and what a game it is. You play as either one or two players (Rikki & Vikki, of course) trying to rescue your children by going through different stages of puzzles. Honestly, I haven't made it real far into the game, as the difficulty is quite high, but what I've played so far, I've thoroughly enjoyed. And speaking of it being a game for the Atari 7800...it's one of the best looking, sounding, and most playable games ever for that system. Of course, not everyone has an Atari 7800, but playing it on here is almost as good. I highly recommend this game for anyone who likes old-school platforms with puzzles.

The general idea of this game is great. In execution, however, it leaves a lot to be desired. For one, matchmaking is terrible. You either get a group of noobs matched up with a veteran killer, or a group of experienced survivors matched against a noob killer. There's unfortunately no other way around it. And when it's the former, the experienced killers are more than happy to just grief the survivors, making the experience far less than fun. Oh, and not to mention the ridiculous amount of time that you get to spend waiting for a game when trying to play as a killer, only to then be matched up with veterans who just loop you to no end and then talk ♥♥♥♥ to you in chat. Seriously, this game is completely broken and no fun to those who just got started with it. If they ever fix these issues then I'm sure the game would be a lot of fun, but as it stands it's not likely this will ever happen considering the game is more than 4 years old now. And when you complain to the devs, they tell you to just play a different game. I'd recommend everyone heed that advice and don't waste your money on this one.

Nothing like cruising around in a big rig, running jobs and ramming 4 wheelers off the road. Just avoid California and its slow speed limits.

Many Jeff Minter fans still mourn the loss of the Minotaur Project games on iOS, myself among them. Most of the games were quite good, making perfect mobile games with touchscreen controls that actually worked well. Thankfully, Mr. Minter is in the process of bringing these games to Steam as the Minotaur Arcade series. Here we have Vol. 1, consisting two of the best games from the Minotaur Project: Gridrunner and GoatUp. You'll probably find a zillion different reviews all saying how great Gridrunner is, so there's little that I can add to them other than to say that it's one of the best Llamasoft games ever. As for GoatUp, this one seems to be left by the wayside in some of the reviews I've seen, which is a shame. This is one of my favorite Llamasoft games, providing a nice vertical scrolling platformer that is just as addictive as any of the other MP games. The price being charged is more than fair for just one of these games, but for both of them bundled together, Vol. 1 is an absolute steal.

I'm a huge Jeff Minter and Atari fan, which naturally makes me a huge fan of the Tempest franchise. Tempest 4000 is a good addition to that franchise, but it's not without its faults. The UI feels very threadbare and the game is seriously lacking in customization options, notably regarding controls and the camera, which is set at less than optimal distances and angles throughout the game. The gameplay is pretty standard fare for a Tempest game, featuring plenty of trippy visuals along with very satisfying explosions. This game seriously needs some patching, but if Mr. Minter sends one down that fixes the aforementioned issues, then this game will definitely be a satisfying purchase. As it stands, it's recommended, but keep the issues in mind when you buy it.

A fun little game that's more than worth the 99 cents paid for it. You fly around in a ship that can't stop, and have to shoot asteroids and other enemies while collecting ammo and bonus weapons. Gold coins can also be collected that will unlock other ships. If you're looking for a mindless old-school shmup, give this one a go.

I've always been a big fan of the Hitman series, and this one is probably my favorite of the bunch. Even about a decade after its release, it still holds up pretty well. Highly recommended if you find it on sale.

Too many hours in this game. Just check my profile for proof of that. This is a splendid (albeit extremely frustrating at times) roguelike that will suck you in with its endearingly simple artwork coupled with addictive gameplay. Would highly recommend.
