Founder for team Pro-HL.com & team -|MOD|- Ministry Of Darkness (Half-Life & Counter-Strike). Created back in 1999 the team is one of the longest going online gaming communities around.
I'm been a big fan of online PC gaming since giving up my console days when games like Street Fighter 2 were my battle ground. With over 13 years of competitive gaming under my belt and acting as tournament admin/lead admin for DemonUk, BarryWorld, WirePlay, ClanBase & Pro-HL as well as managing teams, attending UK LAN's around such as Multiplay.co.uk "i-series" & playing along side some of the best gamers in the UK such as 'GaRpY' of team "dignitas".
Now days I prefer to take things a little more easy, as a "retired competitive gamer" I still enjoy clocking in the frags and giving those who want to test their gaming skills against mine in the new Counter-Strike Global Offensive. However when the wife calls time it's game over... Either that or I'm in the dog house wearing my dinner ;o)

Pumbing... A job I hate! I always find it's a case of do it once then do it again & again until either all the drips have gone or you end up taking a large hammer and smash ten bells out of it. Even a simple task like replacing a toilet syphon ends up like krypton factor. I'm slowly flushing my life down the toilet... God give me strength.
Was in a pub the other night and a dude said to me "Sandz you're just too good" If only he knew what I get up too on those dark, cold nights ;) Hell you only live once and time waits for no man.
-|MOD|- (Ministry Of Darkness) online gaming team was formed back in 1999 has been playing in online tournaments & leagues for over 13 years. Starting off life in Half-Life 'Opposing Force' before moving into Half-Life Deathmatch & the hardcore world of AG (Adrenaline Gamer) a mod for Half-Life. After 3.5 years of taking part in Europe's bigger online league the team finished up in AG to join Counter-Strike & the new Counter-Strike Source released in 2003.
The team quickly became a house hold name in CSS within the UK scene and despite it's 'old skool' players being HLDM fraggers they soon got to grips with the slower game play and tactics to move up into the top 10 teams in the UK attending many multiplay gaming LAN's. We have also had teams go to epic.FIVE & epic.SIX UK LAN events.
MOD had an icelandic team who won two Gamer.LAN events in Iceland as well, bringing home glory.

As zombie games go this has to be the best out there by far and I'm truly loving the massive island resort map to which you can explore and like me get lost on at your leisure as you work to complete different missions.
The zombie as stupid as they are still manage to put the fear of god into you when they charge towards you or unknowingly surround you as you search for cash in cases like it's "deal or no deal" (long storey) . Still once you start waving your baseball bat above their heads and watch as the blood fills your screen you get a real buzz to of satisfaction which drives you to exploring further into this wonderful island resort world, finding new weapons and ways to smash them zombies up.
Features like the multi-player option where you can join other online gamers in your quest to rid the island of zombies only fuels the addiction. A must have title for any zombie fans.
Counter-Strike Global Offensive has been one of those squeals that at first I was very unsure with... However I'm please to say that Valve have come through in their last big update before launching the game and addressed many of teh issues identified during the beta release. The game runs very smooth and the graphics are also on par with other big titles. For die-hard Counter-Strike players this squeal does come with some pain mainly in the form of the weapons. The classic M4a1 assault rifle has been re-modelled and the Mp5 SMG is gone!! Whilst the AWP & Scout sniper rifles still smack a punch many of teh other weapons feel as if the recoil hasn't been configured correctly and no where more can this been seen than letting off rounds with the desert eagle.
Dispite the let down with the weapons and the changes to classic maps such as de_nuke from the Counter-Strike Source version, CSGO does pack a punch in other ways. The stats, game modes and new features are great!
I give it: 7/10
The game has some real nice features one being it's stunning graphics and 3D world which you find yourself navigating through as well as hiding in whilst you set-up that "one-shot-kill". If like me you're a real sniper whore this game is worth checking out. The one player missions give you a good starting point and the art of stealth is key but once you feel "king" join a multiplayer Internet game a see how good you really are!! When I say it's like 'looking for a needle in a haystack' you will know what I mean when it comes to making a kill. But when you do see that pixel move, scope in to see another gamer's head moving in the bushes it brings a smile to your face as you pull the trigger, that is if you don't get killed first and left wondering "Where the hell did I get shot from!!" However the game does lack that Counter-Strike style of play which for me leaves me playing for no longer than an hour before I'm already bored and looking to switch off.
