Steam Trading Cards are virtual cards earned by playing games on Steam that can be combined into game badges.

Collect cards
Play any of the participating Trading Cards Beta games to get trading cards. Up to half the card set is dropped through game play, the other half is earned through your collecting prowess.

Craft game badges
Once you've collected a set of cards you can craft them into a game badge. Like the current badges, they are tied to your account and are shown on your profile. Unlike the current badges, crafting games badges earns you tradable items like emoticons, profile backgrounds, and coupons. Level up your badge by collecting the set again and earning more items.

Level up
All badges now have XP which contributes to your Steam Level, a summary of your badge collection. You can view someone's Steam Level by hovering over their avatar. Leveling up earns you non-tradable items like profile showcases, extra friends list slots, and more.

Joining the beta
If you'd like to participate in the beta, just join this group! We’ll send out email notifications (plus some extra invites) in the order of members joined.

This is a Rockstar game, so it won't disappoint me at all! This is a solid and challenge game.I love the Max Payne story, while I never played the first two titles, the game's gritty and dark narrative completely entranced me from the beginning.

The gameplay was fun and stylish, but cutscenes have spoiled the game experience. The game took no more than10 hours for me.

The presentation and cinematic effects gave the game a unique look.

The graphics were impressively detailed. I ran the game maxed out like a piece of cake with my 7970.

The audio in the game was great as well. It always gives me the feeling when I'm going to be safe, or screwed.

The multiplayer is fun. It is just a bonus and gang wars is loads of fun.

If you really loved Shank 1, then you have to give this a try, but if you didn't, then you can skip this one.

The graphics are awesome, and it delivers great gameplay experience. It's very similar to Shank 1 except that they added new mechanics in the combat gameplay.

The only thing con about this game is that it's short. It will take less than 4-5 hours to complete the campaign.

I would say that it's a must-buy game if it goes on sale.

Indie Game: The Movie is one of the best documetaries movies I've ever seen.

It shows how hard it is for the indie developers to make a game, and how they struggle with all of the difficulties they face.

The movie is focusing on the struggle and success of Super Meat Boy (Edmund and Tommy), Braid (Jon Blow), and FEZ (Phil Fish). All of these games are great, and the developers have done really hard work to make pieces of art. The movie is motivation to try these great games.

This is a must watch for every single gamer, wether you like indie games or not because it's an incredible experience.
