If you enjoyed Total Annihilation then this game is for you. There are far fewer units (especially if you were into massive addons such as TAUCP, but gameplay is essentially the same with one major difference: The maps are spherical, not flat. Some maps are solar systems where you can travel from one planet to the next, use orbital weapons, and even crash asteroids into the opposing team's planet.

My favorite weapon is the "Bot Cannon". It launches lots of weak bots at incoming threats. They're kind of like zerglings. Really weak, but there are a crapton of them coming from all directions.

Mods/addons/maps are also easy to install. There is an in-game interface for finding and installing fan-made content.

I rate this game 4/5.

Things I wish this game had:

1. Flat maps.
2. Fan-made addon units.
3. The ability to launch a game with no nukes allowed.
4. The original TA soundtrack.
