The sequel to Left 4 Dead and a shitload more content, you got spitters, crushers, jockeys and a female boomer (which, surprise, looks ugly as hell). The setting is the same but with almost semi-weekly updates you never get bored. Also hilarious to play with friends for the first time, with difficulty extreme and then record everything that is said and done (you can use sourcerecorder in-game). It's no big deal if you never played L4D1, because you are playing with different caracters.
So, if you have a limited amounth of money and you are left with the choice between L4D and L4D2 I'd go with L4D2.
Fun game, but it can be quite frustrating when playing with wierd-ass faggots. Also highly customuzable and you can play a lot of different gamemodes, each varying in difficulty and speed of gameplay. If I were you (and I'm not) then I'd buy this game (unless you already have it, then you should play it).
Do not buy this game - I'm serious. If you ever played James Bond: Nightfire (which I have) you will notice that the gameplay of that game is more fun. This game is played from third person with some wierd-ass key combinations. The shooting parts are fun, but aiming isn't. - One upside: The graphics look neat and once again, they used the original voices of the characters.
