Disclaimer: I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.

So anyway, I am like a lot of people in that I have a couple cameras, but most of the pictures I take actually come from my phone or a little digital camera I own and are pictures of opportunity (you know, you're driving and the clouds look awesome or the sun is setting perfectly or some douche just backed into your car, etc....), and so there tends to be a lot of issues with lighting, sharpness, artifacts, etc... I feel this is really where Liquivid shines....for the amateur photographer.

The program is incredibly user friendly with a very simple and easy to understand interface, Additionally, the website provides more than enough information via user guides to answer any question you might have. There are also a couple user guides in the community hub on Steam right now and I imagine more will show up as more people use the program.

You can create your own camera profile, which is nice. Also, any pictures you import to the program will automatically be available when you launch the program and anything you have worked on will save automatically throughout the process making it easy to go back and mess with your photos at will.

I found the advanced settings to be the way to go. You can as mentioned before create your own camera profile or simply select one from the list (which has 20 or 30 preset camera lenses....which is to say it recognizes specific lens distortions). The sharpness and noise filters work like a charm. They are simple, but have a huge impact and are the real stars of this program in my opinion. You can also run side by side comparisons of your photo as well as split photo comparisons.

So far, that is all I have really played with, and I havent tried out the video editing features at all, so I cant speak to that, although I'm sure I will in the future. I will also note again that I am by no means an expert at either the photographer aspect or the editing aspect of all of this. I previously just used Picasa, lol.

Anyway, I like this program and was glad for the opportunity to try it out. For me personally, I will definitely get $20 value from it. Obviously, YMMV, but as of now, I recommend it.
