Hello all! Last Emperor and I have decided to do something magnificent! We've formed an official goon Total War clan on Steam! Aptly named Goons Total War. Finally, goons will be able to meet goons AND kill them, just as GOD intended.

What do we hope to accomplish? Well, as stated, we hope to help goons play against goons, but we also hope to organize tournaments among members. For the moment we don't plan on being competitive with other groups, we just want to help goons find people who aren't assholes to play against.

Although this will probably be primarily a Shogun 2 oriented group (seeing as it is the most recent flavor), this group is really for all iterations of Total War and the preferences of the group's members will probably shape the kind of events we put together. Although it really helps if it is playable on Steam.

How do I join this fine organization you ask? It's pretty simple really. You only need:

1. To be a goon on the Something Awful forums.
2. own a Total War game.

You could either:

1. PM Last Emperor or 2-bits your steam ID (meaning the one you use to log in, not what your friends see).
2. Message us on Steam and ask. I'm 2_bits and I believe he is Last_Emperor. Telling us your goon name would be nice.
3. Post in the PGS thread which is located here: http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3268114
4. Just join the chatroom and ask for an invite (PREFERRED METHOD, DOES NOT INVOLVE US HAVING TO LOG INTO THE STEAM SITE TO INVITE YOU AND SEARCH FOR YOUR PROFILE BECAUSE YOU INVARIABLY GAVE THE WRONG LINK OR SET IT TO PRIVATE OR SOMETHING DUMB).

Note: You must PM an officer in Steam chat(someone with a star next to their name) for an invite. Include a link to your SA profile.
