Okay. I'm a Fallout nerd, which might color my suggestion just a little bit, but hear me out. Fallout: New Vegas is a game that, if you do not own, and if you enjoy this kind of game (action RPGs, Oblivion or Morrowind-style, or even just a post-apocalyptic 50s landscape), you really owe it to yourself to go and get. It is basically the best Fallout game to date, gameplay-wise, and the series has never been more readily accessible to the user who has never set foot in the wasteland before.

Basically, get it. Seriously. You won't regret it.

Fun game, great sense of humor, and now that there's a hint button (which is definitely helpful sometimes since it does not pretend to make sense), beatable without investing days or using a strategy guide. Get it if it's on sale!
