So, for the most part the game runs fine. However there are numerous points throughout the gameplay that the game will stutter horribly or freeze, particularly in Big Picture mode. I've had to disconnect my Steam Link 3 times due to freezes, and just now had a total game crash at Sander Cohen's level. The door to the theatre in Fleet Hall wouldn't open, and on jumping on the counter in the room before the theatre's foyer the game froze and crashed, so much so that upon rebooting my pc and game, the level is still wigged out and totally kicked me out of the game. So, sadly, after 6.6 hours of playing through the remaster version of Bioshock I have to say steer clear of it. Hopefully, the normal versions of Bioshock 1 & 2 aren't as bugged.

Early Access Review
To the point, ASFR feels shallow.

Yeah, it controls alright and it looks GREAT, but the characters, abilities, and mechanics that are in great racing games like Mario Kart Double Dash or Blur are not present here. There's a weak drift system that can easily be abused, abilities that lack oomph or even discernable effects, characters who don't have faster or slower traits or even special vehicles, and sound that seems to wash things out so that you don't even FEEL like you're going fast, or FEEL like your ability really ruined someone's day.

On abilities, some are pretty useless, while others can single-handedly guarantee you last place. The theme of the game is fruit, yet many of the generic abilities have NOTHING to do with fruit. Again, they feel really weak, and you have no control of aiming them. You can't shoot behind you unless that ability is MADE to shoot behind you. Very limiting. Plus, to use an ability, you need to essentially pick up pips and charge it. That's not bad, but with the lack of payoff for ability EFFECTIVENESS, it feels pointless..

Overall, there really doesn't feel to be a depth to this game. For as amazing as the characters and world looks, that's a shame. The balancing and uniqueness of the characters and abilities needs more work as well. I'll keep playing for sure, but as of now there really isn't much enjoyment in it :/

As a fan of the new TR games, I thought I'd give this a quick review for the games sake.

The World:
The game is highly enjoyable, although with flaws. It's very beautiful, and there are a lot of details to the world and its lore. The problem with this is that many of tombs, art, and artifacts you find throughout the game aren't fully fleshed out to aid to the story. They are simply there in the background, creating a desire in you that will mostly go unrealised, of Laura reading or interacting with the things she finds and it adding to the story or world.

The Gameplay:
The game is very easy to pick up, the hud unintrusive, and the controls are pretty simple. Crafting is pretty awful though. The game feels like it's trying to introduce true self-sufficiency with ammo and materials via this new crafting system, but it falls flat. You will find plenty of ammo in the world, so the need for crafting ammunition is non existent (and special ammo isn't all that useful, save for ones that explode). Also, there's no wait time. You want 5 arrows? Simply craft with only wood and feathers (no arrow heads) and wait 3 seconds. 5 arrows at your disposal. There's no realism to crafting, no personal touch, which makes me wonder why they added it again and added more to it.

The Story:
While not the best, it's decent. Laura is motivated from her previous experience at Yamatai to find out what other myths and legends are real, turning to the work of her deceased father. Shenanigans ensue, and she's kneedeep in secret organizations and action. I feel that there is a good amount of platforming, puzzles, and action, and stealth to keep the game interesting. Sure, you're fighting an organization that is well funded and well manned, but it doesn't make the story any less of an experience than one where the antagonists are only a small mercenary group. There are times you predict the story, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. A story doesn't always need to have Flashy new twists to make it enjoyable, it can and should pull from the plethora of stories from the past.

Bottom Line:
This is a very fun game. I've loved every minute of it and I'm still not finished with the story (or any of the other modes). These 2 games are the first time i've cared for the TR series or the character of Lara Croft. Please do give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

It's a really fun game :)

The music, animations, and platforming/puzzles will keep ya entertained for a very long time. The difficulty isn't terribly hard, although some of the transformation sidequests can be quite irritating (such as the mouse mazes lol).

Overall it's cute, charming, and jovial. You won't regret it!

YO, this game is so incredibly wonky and I LOVE it. Platonically speaking, of course.

I'm sure there's a story here someone, but the super creepy characters are way more interesting. Just met a hansome, muscular man with an astonishingly lovely chest who won't talk about his wife because his three kids are "home." Yeah, this is gonna be great :3

Oh and you can steal stuff too. Kleptomaniac's rejoice!

(p.s.- yeah, the camera is a TAD on the garbage side, but once you figure out that you can use the arrow keys to move everything, it ain't that bad.)

In all honesty, if you don't like point and click games you should still pick up this one. This was my first point and click game, and I absolutely fell in love with it. The story is very intriguing, the voice acting is top notch, and the setting and atmosphere are very immersive.

The only warning I'd give is the challenging puzzles to solve. Some are straight forward and easy, others can make you pull your hair out. Don't let that dissuade you from the game though, the story and the world are very much worth the effort.

Give Primordia a shot, you won't regret it. If you are still uncertain about shelling out the full cost, wish list it and nab it when it hits a sale. A must have point and click adventure!
