The definitive Persona experience.

The UI and music are one of a kind, going beyond the already great menus and soundtracks of the previous games.

I personally liked P3's story more, but this one was still interesting, with a few unexpected twists.

The dungeons are more interesting than previous games, but you can still get sick of them by the end of the playthrough, rushing through the last ones without looking for collectables etc. While I'm not a fan of turn based combat, I've always appreciated the presentation in Persona's combat (voice lines, special attacks, VFX...), with 5 once again pushing it further than previous entries.

The daily-life mechanics are more numerous than before, with a ton of activities and social interactions that will immerse you in the beautifully crafted city.

The downside for new players is the incredibly long playtime required to beat it, which can be tiring, especially with the long prologue and hand-holding tutorials. Also, in classic Japanese fashion, the dialogue can get cringy at times.

All in all, it's a great experience for those who can get invested in it, and will leave you waiting for the next entry that will suck another 100+ hours from your life.
