You know, I'm your ordinary Wise Kappa that lives on Youkai Mountain. For a long time, I haven't let myself be seen by humans. Since I usually hide to watch humans, I like to think that I am on good terms with them.
My neighbours who lives with me in this Mountain says that I may suddenly change my attitude or my speech, and thus they say rude things like I have possesses a rather odd personality T_T But they don't know I'm unexpectedly shy and self conscious. Because of my introverted nature, I tend to run away the moment I see a human.
I'm really into technical things so they usually call me engineering nut. Whenever I see something man-made, I start to feel so excited deep inside and then I frantically take them apart and then put them back together. I really enjoy finding out what makes things work. So as you can see, my clothes are stuffed with tools. What can I say, I'm an engineer, one of the best in Gensokyo! Making and modifying also suits my abilities too and indulging myself in science is my daily routine.
I'm good-natured enough and I don't let humans enter the Mountain of Youkai. Because it's for their own safety since this place is a very perilous zone for them to enter. So I don't want to see them getting hurt. They are helpless because they don't bear any supernatural abilities just like us. So it's my duty to protect them from danger. If you think that I'm weird when you cross paths with me then don't think badly of me. Because I don't know how to behave when I encounter with real human so I tend to act weird to the point that I might scare you.
Occasionally though, I go and visit the Moriya Shrine or the Hakurei Shrine to see my friends. Marisa is my close friend and she always welcome to visit me anytime. My sister Mitori isn't really around all the time. However, I have seen her back home in Youkai Mountain at rare occasions. Sometimes outside, and in Moriya Shrine too. Other than that I really like to play Shougi with my close friend, Momiji, in our free time.
Unlike the depiction of kappa in fairy tale stories, you can say that I'm on friendly terms with humans, but I can turn into Super Youkai Warhead if I get angry. So don't try out my patience. I also like to hang out with Aya, the wise and photographer Tengu. You could say that we are close friend since she always comes to my workplace when she wants to fix her camera and do maintance. I'm also making different kind of cameras for her so that she can capture every lovely view and gorgeous side of Gensokyo.
P.S: It's true that Kappa is a type of water spirit Youkai found in Japanese folklore. It's also right that we are depicted as a turtle-shelled humanoid with a bald on our head. But I don't have a bald spot on my head. So please don't take my hat off suddenly, it's so emberrasing ;w;'' Lastly I have to admit that I like eating Cucumbers and my favorite drink is Pepsi Ice Cucumber. And thanks for those who gifted me games from my whishlist <3!

Technically, if you would claim that Hitogata Happa is a "ripoff Touhou", I'd give a lot more credit to the storylines of Xenosaga and Suikoden and the gameplay features of Radiant Silvergun and Ikaruga. The only things really reminiscent of Touhou are the gorgeous bullet patterns and the fact that you play as flying characters (which was done by Parodius, Cho Aniki, and Ordyne ages ago).
Everyone loves Touhou, but this is a whole other type of shmup, though equally beautiful and frustrating.
Lastly I am getting a little tired of all the "This game is impossible" comments. It's a game. It requires a different mindset, and a different set of skills depending on the game. Just because you suck at shooters in general (from what I've heard most of my friends) doesn't mean this game is impossible...
Best racing game I ever played after "Need For Speed 2 SE". I still haven't touched single player yet since multiplayer keeps me distracting doing anything other than going into online game. Yes, multiplayer is what most interesting thing about this game. People usually compare it with Mario Kart that's right because normally in racing games all you have to do is wait for chance to pass lead runners when they make a mistake but in this game it's not like that. If you are ranked for instance 3rd or fall behind the pack of group in front of you then all you need to do is just beat the shit out them by sending awesome power-up items like sending rocket (Shunt) right into their asses or just use Shock to stop winning players. You also have other variety power-ups such as nitro, barge and mine and more. So in this sense it like Mario Kart however it's more like Mario Kart and Midnight club (or Split Second) had a baby and they named this little bastard Blur. So everybody should have it.
Coach: Crazy sons' bitches messin' me up!
Me: Please tell me you didn't do mouth to mouth..
Nick: I don't mean to be pickin' on ya, but ya'll look like shit.
Rochelle: Holy shit! What is that?! Some...super-ass zombie!?
Ellis: Is this thing humping me?!
You can even play this game for the sake of audible dialogue that those main characters performing. It's damn funny to listen every single reaction that they are showing when they confront of with any bizarreness. Also fuck yeah Coach is best *HANG ON! HANG ON! I'M COMMING!*<3
Ps: One more thing. If you can't even play this game as whole team or if you couldnt do teamwork then I don't recommend this game to you. IF YOU WANT TO FUCKIN RUSH THEN GO PLAY SONIC THE HEDGEH.... *rages*
