Eternal Silence is a multiplayer space warfare simulator featuring zero-gravity physics and control-point based infantry combat.

Eternal Silence is built on the Source Engine. It has been in development since 2003.

Fly out of a hangar suspended in open space into a dynamic battlefield. Bomb enemy corvettes into oblivion while dodging enemy fighters. Carry a dropship full of teammates into the enemy's hangar and capture their subsystems using squad tactics. Eternal Silence is a space dogfighting and infantry combat experience with no comparison, and is absolutely free on Steam. This game was released on the Source engine (Half-Life 2) in 2006, and has been in constant aggressive development since. The plot revolves around two interplanetary metastates scrapping viciously over vast star systems and advanced technologies many years after Earth's apocalypse. The player will have to navigate complex systems and defenses in order to gain the upper hand in the constant struggle between the two sides using complex skills with both guns and space fighters. The largest war in human history has begun.

Eternal Silence features the following:

* A True Space Combat Experience. Cut your ship's engines and drift in the frictionless void of space.
* Fight against the enemy in both open space, using fighters, and aboard vessels, on foot.
* Fast and Furious dogfights between Fighters and other Tactical Craft in deep space. Escort you dropships to deliver a squad of marines to the enemy hangar.
* Action-Packed ground battles. Seize decks of your enemy’s ship, controlling or disabling their shields, weapons... Fight off the enemy and work as a team, fulfilling the role of one of many infantry classes with an array of unique weapons at your disposal.
* Achieve Victory by either destroying or capturing the enemy capital ship.
* A Complete Story behind the Eternal Silence universe, released chapter by chapter as a novella is available online.
