Well I like driving around in circles so I decided to give this a go. Seems like Codemasters are finally getting the key ingredients right - the handling is much better that the previous two games, the career mode is solid and there are some drop in events for those people without time to burn. Online racing gets a bit bishy-bashy at times, but it's really a single player game I feel. GFWL has also been dropped in favour of steam (retail purchases as well), so updates are coming in thick and fast and the developers seem to be responding a lot quicker to fixing any bugs found in the game.

I'm not sure how long the official license lasts for CM, but each version is getting better. Not perfect by any means, but highly enjoyable if you have a passing interest in F1.

Maldonado is still a nutter though, god bless him...
