There are two types of things people will see in someone: you're a saint to them, or you're shit to them. I'll leave the decision to you...

Because ABBA became 'average' after several listenings.
Oh, and I got tired of people in real life referencing songs I know, so it's sort of a defense mechanism to be annoyed by songs I used to love if they took it and made it popular somehow (comedy movies these days tend to do that). Because I hate being associated with modern movies or events when listening to old songs, this is my way of saying "No, I am not part of your mainstream; I am an actual fan who finds that mildly offensive."
Like I used to love 'Rock the Casbah' until the middle-schoolers back in our school did a Romeo and Juliet play with an okay plot...and they JUST couldn't leave out using The Clash and Beatles for the play during the ballroom scene. Not to mention the awkward dance routine and a bagful of cliches. I'm not being abrasive, I'm just doing my hobby as a critic. :P
The only song I have memorized properly is "Panic"; when that's the case, I would not call myself a fan unless I knew more than a handful of songs of the band or artist.
This group was started by "Mephy", a boy who was born in 1993, who claims himself to be an "80s movie/music enthusiast".
We welcome all who are either, usually: (1) Born in the 80s and miss it or (2) Love the era, wished they were born in it.
Your friends may mock you for being "old-fasioned" but in our group, we welcome all who love the 80s pop culture and it's influences alike.
Whether you like Hall & Oates, or maybe Duran Duran, or you are interested in Vangelis' work in the movie, "Blade Runner"; We welcome all who have the same interests as us.
PS: Mephy is willing to talk to anyone, just add him :p

A rather fun, but challenging game with all sorts of allegories, references, and parodies from sunday school church songs to (obviously) The Binding of Isaac from a chapter in the bible. Filled with grostesque enemies and power-ups (almost 300+!) who will reflect on a dark secret of Isaac's single-parent family and all that you could make sense out of it.
You should not shy away from this game; it is well worth the money!
The plot is simple: You're a big-shot robber in a suit and tie. Along with your friends, you're gonna make it big in cash, diamond, and gold bars and not even those cops will stop you...only over your dead body and until then, you're gonna use them for target practice.
I know this game gets positive reviews for having a unique gameplay and graphics. What disappointed me was how the atmosphere felt like a big strange world of "nothing". Combine with homemade beatbox music and you get some weird wannabe-acid trip. 20 minutes into the game and you're playing the 3rd level, you are already feeling bored and want to go play something that's noisier and more colorful than controlling a character who resembles Fido Dido (that failed 7-up mascot) In short: I don't like it! *pouts* >:L
