In short: Game is excellent, it has it's flaws and other small things, but in overall, a worthy reboot of UFO: Enemy Unknown (X-COM: UFO Defense in NA). You must buy it if you enjoyed UFO back in the days.

Pros.:

+ lives up to any UFO: Enemy Unknown lover's expectations
+ scary musics which gives a good vibe on the battlefield
+ you can take control of an air battle, meaning you control your jets against the alien ships
+ easy to learn the ropes of the game
+ ability to airstrike a crashsite, which can give you some easy cash

Cons.:

- sometimes the game can be a pain in the ass, i.e. early invasions of Androns
- the RNG is too strong sometimes, so you need to plan ahead if you want to survive

I hope that the devs will consider making the reboot of X-COM: Terror From The Deep.

True, true, but if you lose a high ranked officer, then you're in deep shit, and this is what I'm always avoiding, cuz promotion won't come cheap, especially at rank Major or above, and if you want to beat the end game boss.

having contingensy plans is a must.If you know an outcome beforehead, then it's not fun at all.At least for me. Now if every plan goes to shit and I still win because of plan B,C,or in rare cases,D) , that's when I actually enjoy those games.

the RNG is the flaw, not the 'plan ahead' strategy :D

Well, you need to plan ahead if you want to survive w/o sacrificing 1 or 2 of your squaddie :) At least it's the way I play it, that's why I wrote it.

a necessity to 'plan ahead'-a flaw in a strategy game?
Were you drunk writing this?
Also,it's in no way easy to learn, especially if compared to X-Com remake.Other than that,I agree with the rewiev)
