The Darkness II is an interesting game indeed... I won't go into full detail, but the combat is different because of the fact that you can quad wield. The Guns, Darkness combo work pretty well, very smooth. But the combat isn't the best part of the game.

The best part is the story. Normally I HATE games that have full scripting, too much narrative, and too many cutscenes. But for The Darkness II, I didn't mind them at all. I enjoyed the story thoroughly. This game is quite excellent indeed, though the only negative thing I can think of about the singleplayer is that it is sort of too short.

I have yet to play the coop, but I hope it is quite entertaining as well.

Serious Sam 3 serves as a prequel to the original Serious Sam The First Encounter. It features fantastic graphics and new gameplay mechanics that were not present in the previous Serious Sam games. While the cut scenes are better and there are new gameplay mechanics, Serious Sam 3 still holds true to the gameplay style it is well known for. It does start out slower than the other Serious Sam games, but builds up in intensity. I have only played the first level so far, but as a first impression... I approve of Serious Sam 3.

Interesting game, I definitely like the Police Investigation style of the game. Especially back in the 40s. The face animation is different, I think its called Face Scan or something like that. Sometimes the Audio and Character's Faces get off sync by a lot.
